Little Level Up (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a baby-tracking app with gameplay features for new and expecting parents. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Little Level Up, you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

• Account information — your email address and password, managed through Google Firebase Authentication.
• Baby profile information — details you enter about your child, such as name, birth date, and measurements (weight, length, head circumference).
• Care tracking data — the events you log, including feeding, diaper changes, and sleep.
• Game progress — your in-app progress, achievements, and related statistics.
• Feedback — any messages or feedback you choose to send us.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the baby-tracking and game features.
• To enable household sharing, so that both parents can access the same baby’s data.
• To improve and develop new features.
• To respond to your support requests and feedback.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not use your data for advertising.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored using Google Firebase services — including Cloud Firestore and Firebase Authentication — running on Google Cloud Platform infrastructure. We apply industry-standard security measures, and access to your data is restricted to authenticated account holders.

Website Analytics & Advertising

On littlelevelup.com we use privacy-light, first-party analytics (aggregate event counts with no cookies or personal identifiers) and Vercel Analytics to understand how the site is used. To measure the effectiveness of our advertising, the website may also use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and Conversions API, which can set cookies and receive standard technical information such as your IP address and browser details. This applies to the website only — the app itself contains no advertising trackers. You can limit ad tracking through your browser settings or Meta’s ad preferences.

Your Rights

You can access, edit, and delete your data at any time from within the app. You may also request deletion of your account and all associated data — see our Account Deletion page for details. Once requested, deletion is completed within 30 days, and any encrypted backup data is purged within 90 days.

Children’s Privacy

Little Level Up is designed for parents. Only parents create accounts and enter information about their baby — we do not knowingly collect data directly from children. In keeping with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we practice data minimization and collect only what is needed to provide the app’s features.

GDPR (European Users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, correct, delete, and port your personal data, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your data is removed within 30 days, and encrypted backups are purged within 90 days.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be communicated through the app.
